Dispatch-A case study of New Taipei City Government

全球衛星定位系統（GPS）早期用於軍事用途，開放於民間使用後，現今GPS應用已相當
廣泛。本文以新北市政府消防局建置之救護車GPS派遣系統為例，說明GPS如何應用於救
護派遣，以縮短救護時間。
Global Positioning System (GPS) was invented for military purposes, but after its
access was opened to public, the application of GPS has been used widely. In
this article, an example of how New Taipei City Fire Department established GPS
dispatch system for ambulances to illustrate the application of GPS to ambulance
dispatch, and how it can shorten the first-aid time.
