壹、緣起:
一、 南韓「世越輪」海難發生經過 :
103 年 4 月 16 日 上 午 9 時, 南 韓 客 輪「 世 越 號 」(Sewol) ( 船 上 476 人 ) 於 N34-14.34,E125-
51.96( 韓國全羅南道珍島南面海域 ) 發出遇險訊號後開始傾斜,事發 2 小時後沉沒 ( 如圖 1)。
二、救援情形 :
韓國海警隊及美國海軍第 7 艦隊派遣搜救機、艦前往搜救,共有 512 名潛水人員在進行水下搜
救行動。船上共有 476 人,事故共造成 295 人死亡,172 人受傷,另有 9 人下落不明。
1.Sewol marine disaster
At 9am on April 16, 2014, the ferry
Sewol (carrying 476 people,) began
to list at N34-14.34,E125-51.96 to
the south of Jindo Island, Jeollanam-
do, ROK, after putting out a mayday
call and sank two hours later (see
Fig.1)
2.Rescue effort

The ROK Coastguard and US 7
fleet dispatched search and rescue
aircraft and ships to the scene, and
512 divers were involved in the
underwater search and rescue effort.
Of the 476 people on board the
Sewol, 295 died, 172 were injured
