報導，引述當地官員說法，
當時該場所內收容超過1,000
人，其火災而造成重大傷亡

礙與推擠產生恐慌，及隔音
之泡棉快速燃燒，產生大量
濃煙所致，至起火原因可能
為使用煙火火花引燃隔音泡

A fire happening at a nightclub-Boate Kiss-in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul,
southern Brazil at two thirty, Jan. 27, 2013 killed 236 people. According to Reuters,
which quoted local officers, the nightclub was overcrowded with more than one
thousand people. The tragedy was caused by a band’s pyrotechnics show that set
fire to soundproofing on the ceiling and fleeing partygoers stampeded toward blocked
exits in the ensuing panic and were suffocated by toxic fumes, which filled the place
instantly. The cause of the fire could be the sparks from the pyrotechnics show setting
fire to soundproofing in the ceiling. This paper aims to take this case, as well as other
fire cases happening in Taiwan and abroad for example to study and analyze the
problems and ensuing improvements to avoid the same tragedy from happening in
Taiwan.
