緊急救難專線之介紹

「119」是我國政府提供民眾緊急報案的專線電話，該號碼自民國48年12月1日起陸續起用
後，皆是免付費。民國84年1月（即1995年），前電信總局引進泛歐數位式GSM900行動

電話系統，正式開啟我國行動電話通訊的市場，「112」國際急難救助報案電話號碼亦加入

我國緊急電話報案的行列。
119 is the toll-free hot line established by the government since Dec. 1, 1959

for the general public to report emergency cases. Directorate General of

Telecommunications implemented Pan- European Cellular Digital GSM900
Communications services in Taiwan in Jan. 1995 and brought Taiwan into a cell

phone age. 112, the universal emergency telephone number which can be dialed by

any cell phone, was hence used in Taiwan, too.
