前言：

緊急救護服務（Emergency medical services，簡稱EMS）工作量日益增加，所面對的救護情境

也更加複雜，使得緊急救護技術員（Emergency medical technician，簡稱EMT）在執行緊急救護時

更具有挑戰。國內的緊急救護服務品質不斷提升，緊急救護技術員的訓練也更具專業性。而生命徵象
評估是緊急救護技術員在院外的工作核心，使得在有限的時間與資源之下提供患者到院前的處置與初

步判斷。
The workload of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is increasing day by day and the rescuing

situations become more and more complicated, making it a great challenge for Emergency Medical

Technicians (EMT) to execute emergent rescues. The quality of EMS in Taiwan is upgrading day by
day and the training for EMT becomes very professional. Vital signs assessment is the most important

part for EMT outside the hospitals, who has to emergently rescue the patient and judge an initial

condition for the patient under limited time and resources before the patient is sent to the hospital.
