                  According to the statistics of drowning rescue missions carried out by fire authorities at all levels over
                  the past few years, most drowning accidents occur in streams/rivers and seas. In 2020, for example, 386
                  persons drowned in streams and rivers (accounting for 43.76% of the total drowning victims in 2020)
                  and 169 persons drowned in seas (accounting for 19.16% of the total drowning victims in 2020), both of
                  which amounted to 555 persons, representing 62.9% of the total 882 drowning cases in 2020. This is,
                  of course, because streams/rivers and seas have become popular destinations for outdoor activities for
                  people in summer (See Figure 1).
