Water-Damaged Files Rescue Drill Held by the National Fire Agency &
A Visit to NTU Archives

政部消防署為預防檔案庫房因發生不可抗力之火災、漏水等災害，造成典藏檔案重大損

內 害，每年均定期辦理搶救檔案演練計畫。今年亦本著「預防重於搶救」之目標，訂定搶
救水損檔案計畫，定期演習練，使參與人員瞭解發生緊急事件時之職責，及熟悉應變與搶救過
程，避免因緊急事件造成人員與檔案重大損害，並迅速有效執行後續處理，降低檔案受損風

險。
National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior would hold a regular drill for archives
rescue every year in order to prevent such disasters beyond control as fire incidents or
water leak which could lead to serious damages to archives. This year, based on the
goal that prevention is more important than rescue, National Fire Agency, Ministry of
the Interior also held a rescue drill for water-damaged archives to make staff in charge

know their duties and responsibilities should an emergency happen and be familiar with
tackling and rescuing procedures to prevent a great loss from happening or reduce the
risk of archives being destroyed.
