按檔案法自民國91年1月1日正式施行，檔案管理局並於同年頒行「機關檔案管理金檔獎」計
畫，並在92年辦理第1屆評獎活動，目的在於鼓勵各機關積極推動檔案管理新制，表彰成效
卓越之機關，以及長期默默奉獻的檔案管理人員，提高各機關對檔案管理工作之重視。
