On January 16, 2014, the eve of the coming 119 Fire Festival, the National Fire Agency of
the Ministry of Interior hosted the “Phoenix Awards＂ ceremony to honor the many years
of hard work and selfless dedication by national fire rescue services, volunteer firefighters,
women´s fire prevention teams, and EMS volunteers. The sixty-nine winners of the Phoenix
Award received special invitations to the Office of the President, where they were received by
President Ma Ying-jeou. Furthermore, Vice Premier Mao Chi-kuo personally presented each
award to the winners to express appreciation on behalf of the country for their efforts and
hard work. By hosting this event, the National Fire Agency hopes to recognize the efforts of all
firefighters over the past year, boost morale amongst fire prevention personnel, and promote
the development of firefighting teams. The Agency also hopes to raise national attention over
disaster prevention efforts through media coverage in an attempt to achieve the lofty goal of
zero tragedies from accidents and disasters this year.

傳承廿載 鳳凰獎鼓舞消防士氣 與付出，自100年起，鳳凰獎更針對上述兩項工
作設立楷模獎項，且與消防及義消楷模共同於
每一件防災、救災事件背後，往往都有
119消防節前夕共同表揚。能夠獲獎的楷模，全
著一段段令人動容、扣人心弦的感人故事，無
都是經過嚴格檢驗、三卡三關後自全國數千名
論是不眠不休地在惡劣環境下搶救災難，或是
消防、義消、婦宣及救護中脫穎而出的一時之
救災時意外受傷，卻咬牙救出待援者的堅持，
選，其品德操守及救災工作時的具體表現，都

足以成為難以超越的典範。

鳳凰獎傳承至今，已近20個年頭，每年的

鳳凰獎絕對是消防署年度盛事，且歷來獲得表

意義。正是這個原因，鳳凰獎才會受到總統府
中溫暖著受災者及全國人民的心！
及行政院的高度重視，不僅院長、副院長層級
正因如此，為了對平日辛勞奉獻表現優異
長官親臨活動會場表揚楷模，表揚典禮前到總
的消防及義消人員表達敬意，消防署從民國84
統府由總統親自接見，更是獲獎楷模的既定行
年開始便訂定楷模甄選表揚規定，依此辦理年
程！誠如行政院副院長毛治國在本年度頒獎典
度全國消防、義消楷模表揚活動；自88年起，
禮致詞時所說：「總統非常重視『鳳凰獎』，
更將這項活動正式定名為「鳳凰獎」，象徵著
他去年就曾表示一定會撥出時間親自接見鳳凰
消防人員猶如鳳凰一般浴火重生、堅毅刻苦、
獎楷模，而他也信守承諾，在今（16）日與各
不畏艱難，並且永無止息發光發熱；同時因應
位見面了。」毛副院長還表示，對於所有無私
消防工作內容日益擴展，為表揚婦女防火宣導
奉獻的楷模，他的感謝無以言表，僅能代表全
隊及救護志工隊長久以來對於消防工作的貢獻
國人民對所有楷模深深一鞠躬，感性的他，在

勳及致贈紀念獎座，令每位
楷模倍感尊榮；而內政部部
長李鴻源更是全程參與表揚
典禮，見證著每位楷模的榮
耀與成就。
