受反聖嬰現象影響，101年夏日異常炎熱，對於消防人員而言，反聖嬰現象不僅帶
來了多於以往的雜草、山林火災，更令消防人員擔憂的是炎熱天氣總是伴隨著戲水救溺

案件頻傳。據統計天氣愈異常炎熱的年度，戲水導致溺斃之人數往往呈現正成長之趨
勢。有鑑於此，為了對付101年的「溺水大敵」，南投縣政府消防局莫不卯足全勁，做
萬全準備！
It was abnormally hot 2012 summer due to La Nina. To firefighters, La

Nina would result in more mountain fires. What was worse, abnormally hot
weather would lead to more drowning cases when kids went swimming
in the streams. According to the statistics, the hotter the weather was,
the more victims died from drowning. Thus, Fire Bureau, Nantou County
Government has tried its best to prevent any drowning case from
happening in 2012.
