                                            New Taipei City covers an area of 2,052 square kilometers and
                                            has a population of more than 4 million people, making it the
                         Fire Risk Analysis Survey Model
                                            most populated city in Taiwan. The city is also home to large
                                            infrastructural constructions such as the New Taipei City Circular
                                            Line. The complexity of the landscape, population, and industries in
                                            New Taipei City makes it particularly challenging for responders to
                                            carry out rescue operations in the event of a disaster, which, in more
                                            serious cases, lead to a great loss of life and property. In addition, fire
                                            incidents are often erratic and unpredictable. The limited manpower
                                            of fire safety inspection personnel coupled with the huge variety of
                                            public spaces and industrial areas in New Taipei City meant that it
                                            is no easy feat to effectively deploy staff to carry out fire prevention
                                            campaigns and fire safety inspections. These are the problems
                                            currently faced by the fire department in its fire prevention efforts.
