A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the NFA Training Center in Zhushan Township,
Nantou County, on January 22, 2022 to mark the commencement of the second phase of the
center's construction work. The event saw the attendance of several esteemed guests. Besides
NFA Director-General Hsiao Huan-Chang and EPA Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau
Director-General Hsieh Yein-Rui, Deputy Interior Minister Chen Tsung-Yen also graced
the event. The handover ceremony of firefighting vehicles from NFA to the fire departments
of Nantou and Yunlin counties was also held on the same day. The arrival of 20 firefighting
vehicles of various types at the Zhushan Training Center was indeed a grand sight to behold!
