Thermal damage, including heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and heat cramp, seems to occur frequently

in the sphere of firefighting worldwide, and the amount of casualties have never been rare. As a firefighter in
the subtropical country, almost everyone more or less had experienced different levels of thermal damage in
his/her life. Some people immediately noticed it in the early stage and stopped the symptom from worsening,

while others could not safely return home. In accordance with related documents of Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) in US, this article briefly
introduces the prevention and treatment of thermal damage which threatens the firefighters very often.
