In order to enhance the disaster report capability of each level of Emergency and Rescue
Command Center (Command Center below) and strengthen the disaster response ability of
duty personnel, on December 6th at 10:00 am, National Fire Agency held the 2017 National Fire
Department Emergency and Rescue Command Center Managers’ Meeting and Duty Seminar at
Kaohsiung City Fire Department. Participants included fire departments from all cities and counties,
managers of command centers of NFA’s various harbor fire brigades, duty officers, and operational
units of NFA. The meeting was hosted by NFA’s deputy director Mr. Hsieh Jinghsu.
For the first time, outstanding performance operation units and personnel of Emergency and
Rescue Command Centers of Fire Department nationwide had been awarded in the meeting. The
agenda includes: introduction of 119 Mobile Emergency Reporting APP developed by Kaohsiung
Fire Department, 119 false reporting of emergency handling, and microfilm “DACPR (Dispatcher-
Assisted CPR) - Teenage Dispatcher”. Through presentations and experience sharing, the meeting
had been conducted successfully.
