             ϓމͦۃ฽ࠠࠅʘᙄᕚf
                  Based on statistics of the fire cases in New Taipei City in the past five year, we find
              of all buildings destroyed by fires, residential fires account for more than 40 %. What§s
              more, of 4,500 registered places monitored by Seventh Emergency and Rescue Corps,

              Fire Bureau, mass residential units account for 25%. These figures remind Seventh
              Emergency and Rescue Corps, Fire Bureau, of the fact that in narrow Jhonghe District
              and Yonghe District under its jurisdiction, too many residents are living in tall buildings
              situated in narrow lanes, which become difficult targets to rescue should any disaster

              happen. Thus, how to upgrade the fire safety control system of these registered
              buildings becomes the most important issue for the time being.
