人物專訪 全民挺消防!「消防人員醫療照護 公益信託基金」做英雄強大的後盾 A Charitable Trust Fund That Benefits Our Heroic Firefighters 壹、前言 晨曦初露，隨著利耳的警笛，秒針跳動的瞬間，像離弦的箭一頭紮進滾滾濃煙的戰場，為守 護民眾，赴湯蹈火在所不辭，這是消防英雄的日常。 消防人員因工作性質特殊，需 24 小時執行勤務，長時間處於機動性、急迫性及危險性工作環 境，勤務日夜不定，致罹患疾病、發生意外等情事較一般公務人員為高，考量現行制度僅限於執行勤 務中遭受暴力或意外危害致全失能或半失能人員，始得給予醫療照護及安置就養，為彌補其不足，內 政部消防署結合民間資源，於 108 年 1 月 19 日在鳳凰獎頒獎典禮上宣布成立了「消防人員醫療照護公 益信託基金」，加強因公受傷、失能之消防及協勤人員長期醫療及安養照顧，擴大消防人員照護範圍。 截至 109 年 1 月底止，總共補助了 37 案、幫助 2,494 人次、金額為 333 萬 3,923 元。 As the sun rises, we hear the wailing sirens outside──our heroic firefighters are fighting to arrive the fire location to save lives. Unlike other civil servants, firefighters are more prone to diseases and accidents in risk because they have to work in shifts in 24 hours in a highly unstable, stressful and hazardous environment.
